At CMMC we strive hard to contribute and promote the advancement of Mass Communication and public Relations education, training and research through the application of the latest curriculums, programs, technological tools and international ethical and professional standards. Newspapers, radio, television, public relations, strategic communication, advertising, social media, Internet take more than 10 hours a day from our time. They affect our lives on a daily basis in different ways and aspects. They play an important role in the life of individuals, organizations and societies. The College of Media and Mass Communication in the American University in the Emirates through his students and faculty members is engaged in studying and learning the processes and mechanisms of mass communication in all their aspects. In CMMC we are dedicated to teach the students the knowledge, theories and the necessary skills to meet the fast growing demands of the industry due to the fast growing and rapid pace of media technologies development. Our objectives are to train our students to meet the challenges of a media industry and environment characterized by an abundance of data, information and knowledge. At CMMC we make sure that our students are engaged in learning and adopting the arts and crafts of producing the right message for the right medium to the right audience at the right time.

In the United Arab Emirates there is a fierce competition in Mass media Education and training, which makes us at CMMC we focus on being different in terms of interacting with the industry, the stakeholders, teaching methods and knowledge delivery. We focus on analytical and critical thinking, self-confidence, innovation, creativity and leadership. Our program in Integrated Marketing Communication is first and only one in the country.

My faculty colleagues, coming from different universities from different countries and different backgrounds and schools of thoughts play a pivotal and central role in the success of our college. They inspire students to believe in themselves and in their capacities to excel in participating in the process of sustainable development in the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere in the region and the world. CMMC faculty are educators with professional experience from the industry as well as a committed engagement in scholarship and research.

I invite all of you who are interested in having a leading career in the media and communication industry to explore our college further whether online or through a visit to campus with the hope that you will join our community of life-long learners.
