Prof. Cornwell earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Connecticut and has previously taught at several American universities, including the United States Military Academy (West Point), Drew University, the University of Mary Washington, and Salem State University. He values the opportunity to meld the strengths of the American higher-education system with the UAE’s culture, traditions, and global goals to support AUE’s vision of becoming a leading university in the region.
