Dr. Edyta Skibinska is a distinguished public health expert, educator, and international thought leader with over 20 years of experience pioneering innovation at the intersection of preventive medicine, lifestyle interventions, and healthcare systems transformation. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the College of Business Administration at the American University in the Emirates, Dr. Skibinska brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to healthcare management education. Her research interests include Medicine, Healthcare Management, Leadership, with a specialized focus on culturally sensitive preventive health initiatives and healthcare systems transformation.
Dr. Skibinska holds a PhD in Medicine, a Master’s in Public Health, and a Bachelor’s in Health Education from the Medical University of Lodz, Poland, where she served as faculty for 15 years. Her academic credentials include specialized training in Healthcare Management at Yale University. Since joining the American University in the Emirates in 2017, she teaches various subjects under the specialization of Hospital and Healthcare Management, including Public Health, Introduction to Preventive Care, and Health Literacy, preparing healthcare leaders equipped to transform healthcare delivery.
A recognized authority in biohacking and health sciences, Dr. Skibinska has served as a speaker at COP28 and other global conferences. She has received numerous awards recognizing her contributions to healthcare innovation and leadership, including Global 200 Women Power Leader 2025 in Education and Lifestyle Medicine, Mastermind in Lifestyle Medicine and Longevity (November 2024), and one of the Middle East’s Most Influential Women Leaders Transforming Business (July 2024), and received recognition from the Canadian Specialist Hospital for Continuous Support in the Development and Welfare of Women in the U.A.E.
