Dr. Esraa Osama Zayed is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management whose academic interests focus on digital transformation, sustainability, and performance improvement in supply chains. Her research examines how emerging technologies and innovative management practices contribute to greater transparency, efficiency, and accountability across global supply chain networks.

She has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Lean Operations Management, Global Supply Chain, Transportation and Distribution Management, Purchasing and Supply Management, and Supply Chain Accountability and Auditing. In addition, she has supervised numerous theses and actively contributed to academic advising and curriculum development.

Dr. Zayed earned her PhD in Management (Operations and Supply Chain Management) from the German University in Cairo, Egypt where she also completed her MSc and BSc degrees.
