About the service

Your primary advising department

The OASS supports students' academic success through advising, tutoring, mentoring, the Writing Lab and the English program.

In coordination with academic advisors, the office provides direct advising services to students. It is the primary advising department for all students, including freshman, transfer and undergraduate students, and works closely with academic advisors to make sure student needs are met.

Supplemental academic support focuses on early intervention: identifying students facing academic challenges and supporting them with one-on-one tutoring on specific class objectives.
