The College of Security and Global Studies (CSGS) at the American University in the Emirates (AUE) is a welcoming Academic community where scholars and students engage in the search to further their knowledge of Leadership, Human Organization, Life Advancement and Peace. We build on the ideals and values instilled by UAE's Founder and Leaders, and the vision of the AUE President, to harness the theoretical knowledge in the service of practical experience, transforming our students into aware good citizens capable of leading their lives, careers, communities, and nations.
Our programs at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels are designed to provide the students with the credentials needed for successful careers in the different areas of Security and Diplomacy. Our specializations are focused and career guided covering Crisis, Disaster, Emergency and Risk Management at the Bachelor level. At the Master level, our programs provide the deeper and wider knowledge of Security, Strategy, and Diplomacy.
Our professors are from all over the Globe, with diverse experiences and educational backgrounds. They are professionals with a wealth of expertise in education, theory and practice. They are professional Educators and retired Officers and Diplomats. They are all united on the aim of passing their knowledge to the students, and more importantly including the students in the process of knowledge creation themselves through research, analysis, creative thinking and practical experience.
