About Program

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) program at the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) is dedicated to equipping students with cutting-edge computing knowledge, essential computing soft skills, and hands-on experience. This comprehensive program is designed to provide a robust foundation in computer science, ensuring that students gain both the theoretical, technical, and practical experience needed to excel in their careers. Graduates will be well-prepared to meet the growing demand for skilled computer professionals across various sectors.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science has two concentrations:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science concentration in Digital Forensics
2
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science concentration in Network Security

A student must choose any of the above mentioned concentrations as a pathway for graduation.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Computer Science and Similarly Named Computing Programs.

Program Requirements

Graduation Requirements

For undergraduate degree completion, undergraduate students must satisfy the following requirements:
1. Earn a minimum CGPA of 2.00 on a scale of 4.00.
2. Successfully complete all courses as described in the study plan.
3. The Degree Completion requirements must be met within the timeframe of the program.
4. Transfer students must successfully earn a minimum of 50% of the course credits for the program at AUE.
