THE FUTURE OF HEALTHCARE LEADERSHIP
The Hospital and Healthcare Management program outlines the fundamental principles of business and their application to healthcare. The concentration aims to equip students with a broad understanding of the factors that have shaped the healthcare sector, and the organizational skills required to effectively manage and lead a healthcare organization. The HHM concentration includes both theoretical and practical approaches, and aims to include both regional and international best practices in this discipline. Program faculty aim to provide students with skills and expertise to mould them into effective hospital and healthcare facility managers. and leaders.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Throughout their bachelor studies, students will take various courses starting with twelve general education courses. In addition to general education, the core requirements provide further education on management skills, and students then progress to the concentration courses. Students in Hospital and Healthcare concentration are exposed to plenty of practical activities, including field visits, practitioner’s lectures, and internships in some of the major hospitals in Dubai. Once students complete the program, they will be equipped with the skills to take on various professional roles including health service manager, hospital director, medical director, health administrator, health advisor and more.
